Find a quiet place and work through these questions yourself, and/or work through them with a friend, family member, or your life group.
- Think back to some of the dumb decisions you’ve made in life. Can you recognize any common denominators that contributed to those decisions?
- Our emotions and appetites create blind spots. Is there a blind spot you know you have because someone told you, or because you realized it in hindsight?
- In scripture, there’s a common example of how to gain wisdom: surround yourself with wise people and listen. How are you doing at this—seeking out people who are wise, and listening to what they have to say to you?
- What can you do to either seek out more wise people to have in your corner, or to listen more to the wise people in your life?
