Family Ministry Application

Thank you for your interest in serving with Epic Kids or Epic Youth!

Investing in the next generation has lasting impact. We can all remember people who made an impact on our life while we were growing up. You now get to be that person for someone else.

Our Family Ministry Application process consists of 3 steps:

1. Apply
2. Interview
3. Train

1️⃣ Apply

There are 3 things you’ll need to do to apply:

 

Leadership Agreement

As followers of Jesus and leaders in the church, we strive to honor God in the way we live and lead. Epic Kids and Epic Youth Team Members are leaders because of the influence they have on children.

Application

In the application, you’ll indicate what areas you prefer to serve with and supply other needed information.

➡️

Clearances

When completing the application, you will be asked to indicate if you already have or need to obtain clearances. Please review clearance information below. All clearances will be submitted to clearances@epic.church.

 To volunteer with minors in Pennsylvania, three clearances are required:

  1. State Child Abuse History Clearance

  2. State Criminal Background Check

  3. FBI Fingerprints (if you have lived outside of PA in the past 10 years)

Clearances that have been obtained in Pennsylvania within the past 60 months are acceptable and considered current. Clearances obtained for employment purposes are acceptable for volunteer purposes.

2️⃣ Interview

Once we receive your application, one of our Staff members will reach out to you. In this conversation, they will explain more about our ministry strategy, talk through scheduling, and answer any questions you may have.

3️⃣ Train

We want to make sure you get a great start. First you’ll shadow, so you can observe and help out. Then you’ll receive hands-on training and preparation to help you succeed! We’ll be there to help at every point along the way. 👊
